Pitt gets senior role at Havas Media

Pitt gets senior role at Havas MediaHavas Media is continuing to bolster its senior management team, by recruiting a new managing partner for new business and marketing, just a week after appointing its first chief data officer.
Former head of publisher and media searches at The Lighthouse Company Amanda Pitt will replace Debra Isaacson, who left Havas Media at the end of last year.
She brings over 20 years’ media and sales experience across different brands and industries including the BBC, Haymarket Media Group, IPC and Redwood.
Pitt has been briefed to drive what Havas calls the “fame and fortune” of the agency, by “putting in place resourceful strategies and providing a modern approach to business development”.
Following the rebrand in early 2013 and the merger of Havas digital resources across Havas Media and Arena, Havas Media is pushing its data and content driven model to clients. Last week, it handed the chief data officer role to ElisaDBI boss Mike Potts, who joined the agency when it bought his business in April 2013.
Havas Media chief executive Paul Frampton said: “Amanda is an exceptional networker, natural leader and has a brilliant instinct for how to initiate new relationships. She is a big industry name, fully gets the monumental shift agencies are witnessing, but also the importance of relationships and service ethic. I’m absolutely thrilled that she will be joining our team.”
