The Red Brick Road, the agency which was recently bought out by its direct marketing experts, has boosted its creative team with two senior hirings.
Former CHI man Tom Skinner (pictured, left), who worked with directors Matt Davis and Richard Megson while at Hall Moore CHI, has been appointed senior creative director, along with ex-VCCPer Jess Little (right), who takes up the role of senior copywriter.
Megson said: “We’ve been after Tom ever since we worked with him at CHI. He’s one of those rare animals who can produce a cracking TV ad as well as some truly innovative digital ideas. His work speaks for itself.”
The new hires join the 10-strong creative department. Both will work across Red Brick Road’s client portfolio, including Jagermeister, Magners, Suzuki, Thinkbox, Experian and ADT accounts.
Skinner started his career at Lowe & Partners before joining CHI in 2003. At CHI, he worked on Argos and British Gas, as well as Carphone Warehouse and TalkTalk’s award-winning ITV sponsorship of ‘The X Factor’. He most recently worked as creative director at satellite agency CHI/Team News, developing brand campaigns for The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun.
Meanwhile, Little started his career at TMW in 2000, before spells at Chemistry, Joshua, Rapp, Hicklin Slade and VCCP. He also freelanced at Ruby, the agency which was eventually merged into Red Brick Road and taken over by the current management team.
