Royal Mail MarketReach is continuing its quest to keep direct mail in marketers hearts and minds by backing The Marketing Academy’s first alumni programme, as it strives to convince the next generation of the effectiveness of the medium.
As official partner for the programme, Royal Mail MarketReach will support the academy as it continues to deliver leadership learning and development to the graduates of its scholarship series.
Since the academy launched in 2010, almost 150 scholars have graduated to become alumni and are now in increasingly senior roles across the industry.
The alumni programme will provide scholars with year-round learning events from inspirational speakers and bespoke marketing leadership knowledge, social events for networking and access to insight and development opportunities.
MarketReach joins the academy’s roster of existing brand partners which includes Microsoft, Mondelez, British Gas, Lloyds Banking Group, ITV and Adobe.
Marketing Academy founder Sherilyn Shackell said: “The support of MarketReach highlights their belief in developing strong marketing leaders and how important this is for business. With their help we are able to continue the development of strong marketing leaders across the UK.”
MarketReach boss Jonathan Harman (pictured) added: “The role of marketing has never been more important for business and we look forward to working closely with The Marketing Academy and their graduates to help support the marketing leaders of the future.”
