Scientia targets insurance market

REaD Group-owned consumer information supplier Scientia Data is targeting insurance marketers with the launch of a segmentation tool, Intra Insurance, which it claims will enable users to pinpoint customers and prospects with even greater precision.
The scheme uses transactional activity to enhance the product’s performance and combines demographic and lifestyle characteristics with purchasing patterns from the past 12 months – which Scientia believes makes it a highly predictive and responsive tool for the insurance sector.
Scientia also claims Intra Insurance is the only data segmentation tool of its kind in the market.
Charlotte Lynn, sales director at Scientia Data, said: “With the insurance market becoming increasingly complex and fragmented, we designed Intra Insurance with the specific aim of helping marketers working in the sector to view their customers and prospects as individuals.”
