
Initially being launched in Ireland, sources say at, if successful, the My Skoda loyalty programme could be rolled out to other markets including the UK.
Taking the form of a card, which owners can apply for by visiting www.skoda.ie/, the scheme allows Škoda drivers to earn points with each service at their local dealer.
The points are then redeemable for up to 50% off high street prices against the purchase a range of offers from partners including Apple, Aer Lingus, Dell, Elvery Sports and Tesco or even a new car.
Further benefits can include priority booking, 10% off genuine Škoda accessories, and 10% off recommended service parts and labour on a future visit.
Škoda Ireland head of after sales Mark Hayes said: “This marks a significant milestone in the development of Škoda service. It allows us to give something back to our customers whether it’s discounts on premium brands or free vehicle health checks. It helps our customers maintain their Škoda to the highest standards which gives assurance that you will still enjoy the best residual value for your car in the future.”
In the UK, Škoda’s direct marketing account is handled by AIS London, Leagas Delaney runs the ad business.
