Sky plans digital rewards scheme

sky rewardsSky TV is planning to launch an electronic consumer reward and incentive platform as part of its welcome package to new customers.
The broadcaster has handed the brief to develop and manage the programme to Jordan Media (JML), which boasts over 37% of the UK’s best known retail brands as customers, including M&S, New Look, House of Fraser, Boots, Halfords, Wickes, Tesco, PizzaExpress, and Costa Coffee.
JML will also be handling fulfilment and delivery of the rewards across the UK.
New Sky customers will now be able to choose their reward from a portfolio of gift voucher and gift card brands, ranging in value from £25 to £125, determined by the Sky product purchased.
Previously the default e-gift card reward was from Marks & Spencer. However. Sky customers will now benefit from a much wider choice of reward.
Sky head of customer incentives programme Chris Goudie said: “We are very much looking forward to working with JML as our strategic e-fulfilment partner.
“E-gift cards allow Sky to more effectively and efficiently get a customer’s reward to them, and the range of retailer relationships which JML has provides us with greater flexibility in what we can offer as a reward to our customers.”
Initially M&S and Tesco will be the first two brands featured on the platform, with additional retailers being launched going forward.
