TDA has revamped its management team and made a number of appointments in response to a number of business wins, including Lloydspharmacy.
Adrian Gill (pictured) has been handed the role of managing partner, after the bedding in of digital agency V2i – which he founded – following last year’s acquisition.
As part of the original deal, Gill joined TDA as digital director. Now its digital capability is a core component of the business, and Gill will be responsible for the day to day running, ensuring the agency has a truly integrated approach, ethos and culture.
While digital planning is still a key part of his job, he will also be responsible for employee engagement and motivation, in order to achieve the optimum ‘new model agency’.
Heather Westgate has moved from managing director to take on the role of chief executive, focusing primarily on business development.
She said: “It’s becoming increasingly apparent that digital expertise is a pre-requisite for a marketing agency to deliver ROI. It’s no longer relevant to work purely online or offline; it’s about applying the best combination of channels in order to shape the customer journey with maximum effect. Adrian ’s new role demonstrates the importance of our digital capability and its role, alongside our management team, in growing the business.”
There have also been a number of other recent appointments to the TDA team: Corinne LeLoup has joined as senior account director, and Elisabeth Anthony has joined as account director. Philip Holloway has been recruited as a digital planner, Matt Dobie and Liam Coates have joined the digital interactive design team, and Donna Woodcock has been recruited to the studio design team. A new student placement, Jade Meadows, is also working with the agency, continuing TDA’s commitment to education.
