IG appoints agency to turn young people into investors

Online trading platform IG is aiming to expand its appeal among Gen Z and Millennial investors with the appointment of agency Neverland following a competitive pitch.

IG – part of FTSE 100-listed IG Group – offers investors and traders a broad range of investable assets from stocks, exchange traded funds and crypto to leveraged trading products such as CFDs and spread betting.

With growing interest in investing across the UK and Ireland, IG has been rolling out new features and products which cater to a broader base of retail investors.

IG undertook a major repositioning and rebranding project across 2025 aimed at bringing the platform to new audiences. Neverland will now be launching this new positioning to consumers through a large-scale campaign later in 2026.

The agency will subsequently be responsible for launching major brand and product led campaigns, and supporting IG’s ambitious growth plans.

The move follows the appointment of MediaLab to awarding its UK media planning and buying account in September last year.

IG UK head of brand, campaigns and communications Katie Bend said: “There were strong agencies in this pitch, but Neverland operated at a different level strategically. They understood not just what we needed to say, but why it would matter to the people we’re trying to reach – and that thinking came through in every piece of creative they showed us. We’re excited to have a partner who can help us build a brand that genuinely moves the needle.”

Neverland chief executive Josh Harris added: “Buzzing to be partnering with IG. When strategic ambition and creative energy align like this, it’s the start of something special.”
