Why Foxy’s so concerned about the UK’s flaccid flops

foxy 414You know sometimes, just sometimes even I get a little tired of writing about sex; week in, week out the constant search for salacious titbits to send you on your way to the weekend. Luckily for you, I’m not tired of it this week as we are back with a bang, and quite literally for some.

You see, fresh (well, fresh-ish, if you must be picky) research from everyone’s favourite extra-marital affair website, IllicitEncounters.com, has poked and probed 2,000 women to discover which male profession is the sexiest in 2022.

So, I hear you ask, where are admen and marketing professionals? Are they rock hard and raring to go or floundering like a flaccid flop?

Well, give it time, give it time and all will be revealed…

In fact, rather sadly, marketers were pipped to the top spot by lawyers, who account for a whopping 20% of the vote. It seems women find men in the courtroom the sexiest of them all, case closed.

Even more sadly, marketers were also pipped by the men in white coats – doctors – who secured second with 18% of the vote, and CEOs, who secured third with 15% of the vote.

In fact, marketers didn’t make it on to the list at all, with builders laying it on with a trowel in fourth (12%), firefighters smouldering away in fifth (9.5%), footballers banging one in in sixth (7%), teachers caning it in seventh (5%), financial advisors getting rich pickings in eighth (3%), policemen whipping the truncheon out in ninth (2.5%) and even estate agents (2%) – those notoriously golden-tongued shysters – seeing off this industry’s finest in tenth.

IllicitEncounters.com sex and relationships expert Jessica Leoni explained: “It’s not just ripped, topless men that make the cut, attraction is so much more than that. Sure the physical is important, but women want more than a hunk – and this list makes that fact indisputable.

“Lawyers and doctors coming out on top suggest it takes more than a beefcake to turn a woman on. Confidence, intelligence, philanthropy, and wealth – are more important qualities that make up a man’s sex appeal, and what men do for work speaks volumes.”

Now, I’m no expert, journalists didn’t make the cut either, but surely this needs addressing?

It was bad enough when trust in advertising recently plummeted to an all-time low, but now it seems admen and marketing professionals are no longer cutting it in the extra-marital affair market either.

Surely an issue that the new Advertising Association chair will grab with both hands? After all, she’s already vowed to fight for talent…
