The organisers of the “20 in Data & Technology” initiaitive, designed to highlight the breadth of female achievement within the sector and showcase success stories, are seeking nominations for “powerful role models” for this year’s scheme.
The programme was launched last year through a partnership between The Female Lead, a not for profit organisation set up by industry guru Edwina Dunn and Women in Data UK (WiD UK), a group launched by Roisin McCarthy and Rachel Keane, managing consultants at data recruitment firm Datatech Analytics.
The initiative is designed to shine a light on 20 exceptional stories of female achievement and inspire data and technology practitioners across the UK.
Last year’s inaugural “20” featured senior figures from both the client and agency communities, including L’Oreal UK & Ireland senior CRM manager Noorin Virani, Experian Data Labs data scientist Berenice Pila-Diez, RSA chief data officer Gillian Tomlinson and Barclaycard director of collections strategy Karishma Jaitly.

The closing date for nominations for this year’s line-up is at midnight on Friday May 18, with the results being announced at this year’s Women in Data conference.
