23red appoints MediaCom executive strategy director

dan thomasAgency 23red is expanding its team with new strategy director Dan Thomas, who joins from MediaCom where he has been for nearly a decade, most recently as associate strategy director.

Over this period , Thomas has developed campaigns for Government clients, Cancer Research UK, eBay and Sky. His experience spans marketing strategy, comms planning, systems thinking, data analysis, behavioural science, and response marketing.

In his new role, Thomas will support strategy and planning partner Simon Mutter – who joined the agency last year – working on strategy development across creative, partnership and PR, bringing additional strength to clients such as The Open University and new business.

Mutter said: “Since joining 23red, expanding the strategy team was always a priority as we saw significant agency growth. With our focus on purpose and positive behaviour change, strategy and planning is at the core of all the work we deliver.
