ARM co-founder joins Adconnection

All Response Media (ARM) co-founder Cathy McPherson has joined independent media agency Adconnection as a director, following a spell as a consultant with the business.
McPherson, who has nearly 30 years’ experience in the industry, started her career at Media Planning Group, before joining Carat, where she ultimately become a board director.
In 1994, she switched to CIA Direct (now MEC), where she worked with Andy Sloan. A year later they quit to co-found direct response specialist ARM. McPherson headed up the new business unit, bringing a number of high profile clients – including the RAC, One.Tel and Flying Flowers – on board.
She left in 2004 and following a return to Media Planning Group and a spell at Vantage McPherson launched her own business, Tangelo Consultancy, working with the likes of Target Media and Acumen. At Adconnection, the client-list includes Maplin Electronics, Bonhams, Britax, 888, Lovestruck, Pharmacare Europe and Wagamama.
