Cory-EisentrautBBD Perfect Storm is ramping up its creative leadership by appointing Wunderman Thompson Canada executive creative director Cory Eisentraut as creative partner to work alongside ECD and co-founder Seb Hill.

In 2015, Eisentraut switched to Havas Canada as vice-president creative director and then joined JWT in Toronto as ECD in 2018. The agency merged with Wunderman late last year.

Seb Hill said: “Our distinctive proposition is not only attracting exciting businesses but also phenomenal global talent such as Cory. I’m delighted he’s joining our future-focused business at such a crucial time in our growth.”

Eisentraut added: “BBD Perfect Storm has a wonderfully disruptive spirit coupled with tremendous strategic rigour. The agency has a real energy about it and I’m eager to help continue their terrific momentum.”

BBD Perfect Storm was set up in 2013 as the London offshoot of Poole-based integrated agency Bright Blue Day. Over the past six years its client list has included Britvic, Wiggle, Dreams, Prudential, Etihad Airways and Vitality. Earlier this year the agency was appointed by Unilever to handle male grooming brand Dove Men+Care.
