It seems there is life after Campaign magazine, after all, with Claire Billings landing the new role of UK marketing director at media agency MEC.
Billings, who left Campaign in 2006 having been work editor and the DM reporter, joins from Rapp, where she had been head of marketing and communications since 2012. She previously worked at Publicis Chemistry.
Billings will be responsible for all internal and external communications and will be working to increase awareness of the agency’s vision and progress in data, digital and strategy.
MEC chief executive Stuart Bowden said: “We couldn’t be happier that Claire is joining us and I’m sure she will help our stories and our client’s successes be even more widely heard.”
Billings added: “I’m really looking forward to supporting the company’s ambition to do great work, through inspiring ideas by focusing on its people and culture.”
