Equimedia nets Swindon biz task

Digital media agency Equimedia has been tasked with raising awareness of Swindon as a business hub by Forward Swindon, which is funded by the local borough council.
Once more renowned for its so-called “Magic Roundabout” (pictured), Swindon is now targeting businesses in and around London in a bid to encourage them to move down the M4 corridor.
Equimedia has devised a digital media campaign, which will run from September to the end of February 2014.
Using its bespoke in-house trading desk Kaizen, the agency has planned and bought ad space on websites aimed at businesses ranging from start-ups to large, established enterprises. It has also struck an agreement with the IDG Network to place ads on its sites targeting IT and technology organisations in particular.
The online display ads highlight the benefits Swindon has to offer, including highly competitive property costs and excellent transport links with London and the South West.
Visitors will be redirected to www.swindon.uk.com, which offers detailed information about Swindon as a business base, explains what help is available to facilitate a straight-forward move as well as case studies of businesses that have already made the move including Honda, Nationwide and Intel.
