Everything Everywhere, the company which owns T-Mobile and Orange in the UK, has appointed former MTV Europe group sales director Barry Llewellyn as director of mobile media and advertising.
Llewellyn (pictured) is tasked with developing harmonised advertising and direct marketing across Orange and T-Mobile brands, and with growing the group’s advertising revenues from existing propositions such as Orange Shots.
He is also tasked with developing new advertising and media growth generation.
As well as his role at MTV Europe, Llewellyn has also worked at ITV, Channel 4 and global entertainment content company Viacom.
Everything Everywhere chief development officer Gerry McQuade said: “The development of innovative advertising and media campaigns to support revenue growth is absolutely key to Everything Everywhere.
“Barry joins us with a wealth of experience, and we are confident that the mobile advertising and media propositions grow and develop through the contribution of his vision and expertise.”
In March, the group appointed Communisis to handle the running of its customer communications business. Under the deal, Communisis will source, manage and fulfill all marketing services for the combined business and is expected to generate annualised revenue for Communisis of up to £10m.
