GB Group cites international growth as revenues soar

chris-clarkGB Group has reported double-digit growth in revenues to nearly £90m, with pre-tax profits topping £10m helped by strong international growth.

The data company, which last month acquired address validation specialist Postcode Anywhere in deal worth up to £74m, has reported revenues of £87.5m for the year to 31 March 2017, up by 19% on a year earlier. This includes organic revenue growth of 12%.

International revenues have grown strongly during the period, increasing to 31% of total revenues in 2016/17 compared to 26% in 2015/16.

Pre-tax profits after exceptional costs rose by 8% to £10.1m.

GB Group chief executive Chris Clark (pictured), who succeeded Richard Law in October 2016, said: “We have made a positive start to the year, with trading in line with management expectations. We have also completed a successful acquisition and I am excited about the opportunities this brings.
