GI Solutions Group, the company which operates print, mail, and data insight divisions, is moving into creative services with the launch of a new agency, GI Red.
The company has recruited Paul Sumner from Tesco to head up the agency, which will offer a raft of services in print media and digital formats from creative concepts, design and illustration to marketing, print production and personalised direct mail.
Sumner, who headed up Tesco’s print operation for more than 30 years, becomes creative consultant. He said: “GI Solutions has already produced some fantastic creative ideas for customers and we can see the potential to take this to the next level. GI Red is helping to link data insight with creative ideas to deliver print, POS and digital creative and artwork.”
The group will now operate four divisions, the main print and mail business GI Solutions, insight wing GI Loyalty, procurement arm SynYang and agency GI Red.
GI Solutions Group managing director Patrick Headley added: “We have supplied creative solutions to our customers for some time and now was the moment for us to expand this offering to include all services our customers want.
“We are challenging our customers to be more creative and GI Red can help them achieve this to deliver better responses and revenues.”
