Gyro brings in new strategy chief

gyro tooGyro boss Kate Howe has boosted the business to business agency’s management by appointing former and LBi chief Jake Dyer as head of strategy and media for its London office.
Working alongside Howe and executive creative director Dave Harris, Dyer will to lead on strategy, technology and media capability, as well as further develop the agency’s digital and technology capabilities.
He started his career in the planning department at TBWA\GGT Direct in the Nineties, eventually switching over to as group strategic planning director in 2006. Three years later Dyer became UK head of planning at LBi and in 2012 joined We Are Experience as managing director and director of strategy and insight.
Since Setpember 2014, he has been working as a business and marketing consultant.
Howe said: “With his track record, created in some of London’s leading digital agencies – including, LBi and WeAreExperience – Jake will be a key part of our growth plans over the next few years.”
Dyer added: “Gyro offers me a fantastic opportunity. It’s positioned in the sweet spot of where marketing is heading – maximising the use of digital technology to drive business and deliver a tangible return on marketing investment for clients. I know the agency has ambitious plans for the future and I’m looking forward to getting started on making those plans a reality.”
