Havas EHS group chief executive Tash Whitmey has strengthened the agency’s senior management team with three new appointments, on the back a 20% surge in revenues.
Former head of mobile at Bartle Bogle Hegarty Peter Sells joins the agency to build its mobile offering. He started his career in the interactive division of MTV, eventually becoming senior programme manager for mobile. He left in 2007 to set up BBH’s mobile division where he worked for clients including Barclays, Audi, KFC, Vodafone and Burberry.
The agency has also appointed Simon Nixon, formerly head of the sport at digital agency Aqueduct. As technology director, he will spearhead Havas EHS’ technical delivery and user experience.
Meanwhile, former director of production at Story Worldwide Brendon McCabe takes up the new role of head of delivery. He will manage the project management team and look to improve the agency’s processes.
All three will report to Matt Fanshawe, who has been promoted to take on the day to day running of the London office, in addition to his existing roles of global brand director and group chief operating officer.
Whitmey (pictured), who claims the agency’s revenue has grown 20% over the past year, said: “Some big wins and fantastic talent have put us on a new playing field altogether.
“The significant growth we’ve seen puts us in a strong position for 2014 and these senior hires are transforming the way we will deliver into the future. Peter, Simon and Brendon are exceptional individuals who each bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company and will move our FULCRM proposition forward.”
