Indicia retains Tourism Ireland brief

Tourism Ireland has reappointed Indicia to its direct marketing business for the third time, following a competitive pitch, extending its relationship which first began in 2001.
Indicia will now handle Tourism Ireland’s entire DM activity in Great Britain for the next three years, with the brief containing an emphasis on digital marketing, including email and online, as well as social media integration.
The Bristol-based agency will work alongside Tourism Ireland to develop its marketing strategy, in conjunction with the tourist body’s other agencies.
Indicia most recent campaign for Tourism Ireland was the ‘Ireland Mystery Tour’, a month-long campaign to raise awareness of rural Ireland as a key holiday destination.
Following the ‘Road Trip’ campaign launched in May 2011 to highlight Ireland’s cultural offering, Tourism Ireland wants to showcase other parts of Ireland aside from the well-known cities that are already popular with holiday-makers.
Tourism Ireland customer engagement manager Sarah Rogers said: “Indicia’s strategic insight, creative strength and powerful data capabilities will combine with our own upweighted investment in CRM capabilities, to allow us to create outstanding campaigns to deliver visitors to the island of Ireland.”
Indicia managing director Ian Stockley added: “We’ve enjoyed a wonderful relationship with Tourism Ireland for over a decade now and we’re thrilled to be continuing our work with them. Together we’ve created some highly effective, truly standout campaigns and we look forward to continuing in this vein.”
