Andrews brings more than two decades of international creative leadership across the UK, Europe, Australia and the US. He was most recently ECD at Iris Worldwide, where he helped shape the agency’s creative direction across the European region, winning and leading major accounts including Bosch, Siemens, Flixbus, Samsung, Alcon and Roche.
He also led the creative transformation of the European office, turning it into an award-winning integrated agency and driving the adoption of AI within creative production and execution.
Prior to Iris, Jason served as executive creative director at Rapp, where he led one of the network’s most awarded periods in the UK. He built and scaled a 60-strong digitally native creative team and helped pivot the agency toward integrated, social-first storytelling, working with brands including Virgin Media, Barclays, Nestlé and GSK.
Jason is also an entrepreneur, having founded the agency Personal within Engine Group and co-founded digital legacy platform emortal, a technology venture backed by private investment that pioneered the concept of “memory insurance” for families’ digital lives.
Across his career he has worked with some of the world’s most recognised brands including Nike, BMW, PayPal, Guinness, Samsung and Allianz, while also building deep expertise in healthcare communications through work with Bayer, Roche, GSK, Alcon and Convatec.
Working as part of Double W’s senior collective model, Andrews will help shape the creative culture of the business, mentoring teams and leading the development of ideas.
Double W Worldwide founder Laurence Bray said: “Jason has led creative teams around the world and built agencies from scratch, so he brings both imagination and real commercial experience. He understands how to build cultures where great ideas thrive, and how those ideas translate into growth for clients. With Jason involved we’re raising the creative bar while staying true to the collective model that keeps us fast, senior and focused on the work.”
Andrews added: “AI has commoditised creative execution and production. The value today lies in creative judgement and experience – and giving clients direct access to it. Double W brings together smart, independent practitioners, free from the bureaucratic layers of a traditional agency. That combination is rare and I’m excited to help build something ambitious with the team.”
