Independent agency Joan London has expanded its senior team with the appointment of Flora Joll as strategy director and the promotion of Graeme Hall to group creative director.
Joll joins with more than a decade of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, having worked at agencies including Creature, Leo Burnett and Mullen Lowe.
She will be responsible for the eBay UK account, as well as the strategic lead in the Joan London management team.
Joll, who will report to managing director Tom Ghiden said: “The team represent exactly what I love about our industry in terms of creative ambition and aptitude, I’m delighted to be a part of this growth period for the agency, and love the spirit in which we’re going about doing it.”
Meanwhile, Hall has worked as a creative director at the agency since June last year, bringing more than two decades of experience from across the world within agencies including DDB & Revolt and in-house at Google Labs.
Following his promotion to group creative director, he will be a core part of the Joan London management team as well as being responsible for leading the creative work for the UK eBay account and working closely with Joan Creative in New York to establish eBay’s global brand.
Hall, who will report to ECD Kirsty Hathaway, commented: “Joan isn’t your average agency. Something special is happening in this office just off Fleet Street. So I’m more than a little chuffed that they’ve invited me to step onboard and create a boatload of joyful rebellion” said Graeme.
Tom Ghiden added: “Bringing in and promoting the best people is vital as we build Joan London. A smart and hungry senior team will help us realise our ambition. Both Graeme and Flora share our vision for the growth of the agency as well as our appetite for making work in the spirit of joyful rebellion. We are committed to building a team that brings diversity of thought to the table and are delighted they are both part of it.”
