Lida has continued to shore up the performance of parent company M&C Saatchi, with recent wins contributing to an 8% increase in UK revenues for the group.
During the period Lida scooped the CRM business for Land Rover, as well as having a major influence on the main agency winning the digital business for Boots and RBS.
The results do not include the recent Comparethemarket CRM account win, but combined with improved performance across Europe, up 21%, M&C Saatchi has reported a half-year pre-tax profit growth of 6%, at £9.3m.
Middle Eastern and African revenue was up by 54%, while revenue in the Americas went up 24%. However, Asia and Australasia fell by 3%.
M&C group chief executive David Kershaw (pictured) said: “We experienced a positive revenue increase in the UK of 8%, with our CRM and mobile businesses doing well. We also had a favourable run of account wins across our group of businesses, including Adidas, Club Med, HMG Cyber Security, Land Rover and Unipart, as well as winning the RBS and Boots digital businesses.
“As ever, we maintain a close watch on costs as well as margins. This resulted in the headline operating margin holding at 20.6% .The UK headline operating profit improved 7% on 2012.”
