Mint Global signs up top speakers for this month’s event

mintDecisionMarketing has signed as a media partner for The Global Marketing Alliance’s Mint Global summit, being held in London later this month under the banner of “Regulation, Innovation and The New Data Economy”.

The line-up of speakers includes Sky group head of data protection and privacy Nina Barakzai, the Data Protection Network’s Julia Porter and group head of data protection at News UK Michael Bond.
The event will also cover innovation in data and the opportunity the new data economy offers, with presentations by PA Consulting partner Karl Havard, and Open Data Institute head of marketing and membership Hannah Foulds.
Topics include:
Creating a world class data driven organisation
Best practice –  GDPR – and managing the change to your data
GDPR on the ground: Relieve the burden – Unlock Value
Data innovation and disruption. How to prosper from the changing landscape
Machine Learning and AI: Hot air or hot topic?
The customer-to-data value exchange
Blockchain for data driven marketers
Data driven marketing. Bringing it all together
Global Marketing Alliance publisher Matt Edgar said: “We are staging our Mint summit just prior to the GDPR coming into force. But it’s not about last-minute panic and preparations – although of course they’re bound to come up! We will be looking at the regulation and what it means for marketers through a different lens; as an opportunity to create value and grow our businesses – a way of reaching out to truly engaged customers with tailored offers of our products and services.
“The old days of ‘spray and pray’ marketing campaigns have long gone and we have moved on. Good.
“So as we move forward, and as well as GDPR, we will be looking at innovation in our industry and what we have described as the new ‘data economy’ – the vital value exchange between business and customers.
“Our event will be about meeting together, learning from the experts and sharing information, inspiration and experience. What could be better?”
