MSQ drafts in Anna-Lee Bridgstock for top data role

Anna-Lee Bridgstock 2International creative and technology agency group MSQ is bolstering its data science offering with the appointment of former LadBible Group chief Anna-Lee Bridgstock to the newly created role of partner of analytics and insight.

Bridgstock has been briefed to will help scale MSQ’s overarching data capabilities, developing new data and analytics products and driving new insights, CX, creative, data and tech-led opportunities for clients.

MSQ says her appointment continues the group’s commitment to making data-driven marketing and effectiveness a key priority, and Bridgstock will work closely with MSQ’s specialist research and insight business, Freemavens, and will join the agency’s executive board.

Most recently a social data and insights consultant for BBC Studios, Bridgstock has formed and led data teams for some of the world’s leading marketing, media and tech businesses.

She began her career in Sydney, developing insights at Interpublic Group and Microsoft, before joining MediaCom in Germany as the data and insights global associate director on the agency’s Volkswagen account.

In 2016, Bridgstock was appointed MediaCom’s global product director, before joining Wunderman Thompson as digital performance partner in London. After three years she joined social publisher LadBible Group to set up and lead the company’s new hybrid data and planning team, bringing together data, paid media and commercial strategy under one roof.

While at LadBible Group, Bridgstock was named in the DataIQ “power 100” of the top most influential people in the data industry and one of the “Top 20 Women in Data & Technology”, a joint initiative by Women in Data and The Female Lead, designed to showcase outstanding stories of female achievement in data science across the UK.

Freemavens executive chairman Bart Michels, the former Kantar European CEO of consulting who joined MSQ in 2021, added: “Anna-Lee has a great pedigree in data-driven insight, analytics and marketing and we’re delighted to bring her cutting-edge thinking to the group.
