OgilvyOne lures Havas EHS chiefOgilvyOne London has poached Havas EHS’ global data director Ol Janus to be the boss of the agency’s UK data services team as head of data.
Janus was born in Holland and lived in both Brussels and Paris before moving to the UK when he was a teenager. Having worked at Acxiom and Virgin Media he joined Havas EHS – then EHS Brann Discovery – in May 2003, while Huw Davis was managing director; he went on to succeed Davis as MD.
While there Janus worked on clients including Danone, Royal Mail, Barclays, easyJet, Waterstones and Comparethemarket, and spent a 6 month consultancy secondment at the Diageo Western European marketing innovation team.
He will report to OgilvyOne London managing director Jo Coombs, who said: “We’re delighted that Olivier is joining us to lead our UK Data Services team as we continue to grow our data planning, analytics and marketing enablement capabilities. Olivier’s appointment will ensure we remain at the cutting edge of data innovation and continue to deliver world-class solutions to our clients.”
