Regus in pitch after OgilvyOne split

regus calls pitch after ogilvyone splitWorkplace provider Regus is understood to have served notice on OgilvyOne – which was only appointed 13 months ago to handle the brand’s worldwide DM account  and is now hunting a new agency.
The appointment, made by Marc Nohr while he was global managing director, would appear not to have worked out as planned.
Nohr oversaw all agency relationships and took responsibility for the brand’s global membership programme. He left Regus after 8 months.
However, there will no doubt be a certain amount of schadenfreude at Kitcatt Nohr, the agency Nohr had co-founded and left to join Regus; his former colleagues did not make it through to the final stages of the original pitch.
OgilvyOne was appointed in April last year, and briefed to devise a direct marketing strategy to expand Regus’ flexible-working offering.
Activity targeted customers from all sectors, including corporate, SMEs and sole traders.
At the time, Regus chief marketing officer Rick Vlemmiks said: “Demand for our services is strong, especially from large corporates, and we are growing rapidly to satisfy it. OgilvyOne has a pivotal role to play in helping us realise our ambitions.”
