Stephens Francis Whitson has bolstered its planning department with the appointment of Kitcatt Nohr’s Chris Ridd as senior planner.
Ridd, who worked on the Age UK relaunch as well as Waitrose and John Lewis at Kitcatt Nohr, will head up the More Th>n and Npower accounts at SFW.
The move coincides with the appointment of Presky Maves senior management team at the VCCP Partnership agency.
Managing director Peter Worster, creative director Stuart Woodington, business strategy director Simon Spyer and five others moved across, bringing clients including Barclays and First Drinks.
Designed to strengthen the agency’s data and digital capabilities, it follows Presky Maves’ demerger from sister company Quant. Presky Maves continues to operate as does Quant Marketing, the data consultancy run by chairman Nigel Gatehouse.
In recent months Presky Maves had lost both IKEA Family in the UK and LoveFilm, although it is understood this had been offset by strengthening its relationship with Barclays.
Meanwhile, SFW has picked up £4m Credit Confidential, £1m Microsoft Advertising and plucked the RSA 150th birthday campaign away from Fallon.
