Sky appoints Elvis and 20:20

BSkyB has put the finishing touches to its digital agency roster with the appointment of Elvis Communications and 20:20 to the £10m business.
They join incumbents Digital & Direct, WCRS & Co and Brothers & Sisters on the roster, while Efficient Frontier will handle paid search marketing activity. The agencies replace AKQA, Soup, Bigmouthmedia and Diffiniti.
The media group also works with Engine-owned Jam, which handles its social media strategy, Greenlight which runs its search engine optimisation (SEO) account, Affiliate Window runs affiliate marketing activity, while MediaCom handles digital media planning and buying.
John Orriss, director of subscriber growth and sales, BSkyB, said: “These latest appointments complete Sky’s roster of digital agency partners, following our comprehensive review last year.
“Digital interaction with our customers is an ever-more important part of what we do, and, in our final roster, we now have the ideal blend of skills, capabilities and expertise to continue our leadership in the digital arena.”
In the company’s latest figures, increased demand for broadband helped drive double-digit profit growth. In the six months to December 31, pre-tax profit jumped 26 per cent to £467m on revenue that rose 15 per cent to £3.18bn. Adjusted free cashflow rose 44 per cent to £443m.
