The new role of UX director will see Salter take a hands-on role within the agency, supporting its client base while working closely with teams internally to ensure greater collaboration and interaction.
He joins Tangent Snowball from Goodprint, where he was a UX and creative consultant. Prior to that Salter worked for Photobox and Stickygram for nearly five years in a variety of roles, from web designer to UX architect.
His specialities include user research in the form of data analysis, interviews, persona creation, benchmarking, user testing and other methods depending on project context, to create the best picture possible for designing informative and meaningful experiences. Amongst the research, the design of customer experience maps and user models helps his creation of user journeys, wireframes and micro interactions; be it in Axure or an Adobe package.
The agency has also hired former Reed and Pitney Bowes developer Richard Hewett and Miloud Berbari as senior developers.
Tangent Snowball chief executive Steve Grout said: “Paul’s passion and ambition to make a mark in the creative and tech world aligns with our approach. We are excited by his enthusiasm and appetite for beautiful user experience, which will help us develop even stronger work for our clients.”
