MRM Meteorite grabs TSB account

MRM Meteorite grabs TSB account.jpg 2MRM Meteorite has been appointed to handle the direct marketing account for TSB just weeks after the bank pulled the business out of Havas Helia, citing its revamp as the reason for the split.
Helia (formerly Havas EHS) had only handled the work for 18 months, having taken on the business after TSB split from Lloyds in September 2013.
Meteorite was on the Lloyds roster for a number of years until the bank appointed Proximity London and Tangible, among others, and was well-placed to pick up the business from the “bank that likes to say ‘yes’.”
TSB’s advertising account is handled by independent agency Joint, while Manning Gottlieb OMD runs the media activity.
TSB operates a nationwide network of 631 branches across England, Scotland and Wales, with more than 4.6 million customers and over £20bn of loans and customer deposits. It has headquarters in both Edinburgh and London, although the marketing department is run out of Bristol.
MRM Meteorite was formed in October 2011 when McCann Worldgroup sealed a deal to buy independent agency Meteorite, and merge it with MRM London.
