Tangent Snowball hires Iris chief

Tangent Snowball is bolstering its senior team with the appointment of Iris Worldwide chief Julian Orgill as group account director.
Orgill’s role will involve spearheading the Wolesley and Walkers accounts and he will work closely with a team to help build client profiles and drive business.
Since starting his agency career in 1997, Orgill worked at a number of leading agencies, including Rapp, Proximity London, and WDMP before joining Iris in February 2012 also as group account director. His previous clients include Barclaycard, Lloyds, British Gas, Nectar, TV Licensing, and Abbey National.
Orgill said: “Joining Tangent Snowball will provide me with a brilliant opportunity to enable me to combine my diverse experience to create great work – the data, the strategy and the creative all coming together. Having worked in some bigger agencies recently I am looking forward to being part of a freer, more intimate environment to really make the work pop.”
Tangent Snowball managing partner Jonathan Pritchard said Orgill’s “breadth and depth of experience will be really important in helping to make our client’s budgets work even harder to drive their business”.
He added: “He joins an enthusiastic and very capable team with some great work to be doing as soon as he arrives. Tangent Snowball has been very successful over core areas in the last few years and with Julian joining, we can continue on that trajectory.”
