Breathe Consultancy, the data agency unveiled by Verso Group earlier this year, has appointed a new managing director to succeed Graham Bate, who was brought in on a consultancy basis to launch the venture.
Verso’s head of affiliate partnerships Josh Agar Littler takes up the role with immediate effect.
The agency claims to offer clients a radically new way of ensuring data relevance and compliance based on its proprietary compliance and verification Breathe Platform software filtering platform,
It views the appointment as a key element in its development towards becoming a major data provider.
Before joining Verso in September this year, Agar Littler was country manager for the UK and Canadian markets at data and marketing company AdSalsa.
Established on a marketing agency model, Breathe provides a fully managed service that it maintains is able to use in-depth understanding of the consumer marketplaces clients operate in. As a consultancy, Breathe works closely with clients to learn their objectives and then combines this with its data experience and software technology to deliver optimum results.
Verso Group chairman and chief executive Anthony Hawkins said: “This is an important milestone for Breathe Consultancy. We have taken a pragmatic approach to senior appointments and the development of the company, and Josh has the values and ideal experience to help take it forward. We will shortly announce other significant appointments as Josh builds a team around him.”
Bate, who was recruited for the launch stage of Breathe Consultancy, remains a consultant on Breathe Platform.
Agar Littler said: “This is a brilliant opportunity to be integral in building a business designed to deliver data based on a progressive model that breaks the traditional commodity based mould.”
