Dare content chief joins growing team at Moment

Matt WeinerThe head of Dare’s content division, Matthew Weiner, has been poached by international creative content company The Moment as a senior strategist as the agency’s staffs up for growth.
A former journalist and editor, Weiner worked for The Times, FourFourTwo, Goal and CNN, Matthew arrives from digital agency before joining Dare, where he devised content strategies and led a team of content creators working with Barclays, Barclaycard, BMW, Nike Football and Huawei.
The Moment team is led by Sandra Peat, who started her career at Rapp before joining Red Bull as head of brand in 2005 and then global director of PR, experience and events at Bacardi. Peat joined The Moment in October 2014.
She said “As a senior strategist, with a wealth of content and editorial experience, Matt will play a key role in building The Moment’s strategic approach to content marketing, as well as pioneering innovative integrated marketing solutions for our clients.”
Weiner added: “I believe brands have the power to make a difference to people’s lives and so was inspired by the Coffee vs Gangs series the content company created for Kenco. I want to help The Moment create more inspirational content.”
Weiner’s appointment follows a string of hires for the creative content company. During the past year The Moment has brought in Will Glynn-Jones from Leo Burnett, and Matthew Robinson from AMV BBDO.
