AkzoNobel hires Ogilvy for major EMEA push for Dulux

Dulux HeritageAkzoNobel, the company behind global paint brands including Dulux and Sikkens, has handed its EMEA advertising business to Ogilvy, following a pitch with an integrated global team spanning Spain, Poland, South Africa, UK and the Netherlands.

AkzoNobel is focused on innovation and sustainability and the work will include a pan-European campaign, developed by Ogilvy Netherlands, and a campaign for Dulux’s premium Heritage range, developed by Ogilvy UK.

The pitch was managed by Booster Consulting.

AkzoNobel decorative coatings director of commercial marketing EMEA Kim Potters said: “We are pleased to appoint Ogilvy as our agency network partner.

“Throughout the process, they showed creativity and are a great fit with our way of working in EMEA. We look forward to working with them across our AkzoNobel consumer portfolio.”
