Arthritis Research UK has handed its account to e3 as part of plans to boost its online presence, with the agency also taking the lead in the strategy and execution of ongoing digital campaigns and projects.
The charity is dedicated to stopping the impact arthritis has on people’s lives and is looking at the digital channels to better achieve those charitable aims.
The agency, which has secured a three-year contract, will provide both the ongoing management and future development of Arthritis Research UK’s online strategy.
Arthritis Research joins a growing band of charity clients at e3; it already works for The National Trust, Unicef and the NSPCC.
The charity’s head of digital, Zoe Camper, said: ‘We were looking for a digital agency that were a Sitecore specialist and ideally had experience in the charity sector. We were greatly impressed by e3’s knowledge, enthusiasm and strategic approach, this combined with being a Sitecore CMS Gold partner made them an obvious choice.”
e3 managing director Neil Collard added: “One of the real pleasures we get is from doing innovative work for charities and making a difference so we’re looking forward to creating something unique, engaging and effective for Arthritis Research UK.”
Founded in 1936 as the Empire Rheumatism Council, the charity then became Arthritis Research Campaign but shortened its name to Arthritis Research UK in 2010 as part of a drive to raise the profile of arthritis research and the organisation itself.
