Ben Golik reunites with Goodman at Uncommon CX

golikFormer M&C Saatchi and Lida chief Ben Golik has been reunited with Jonathan Goodman after being handed the role of creative partner at Uncommon Experience Studio, the CX agency launched by Uncommon Creative Studio in 2021.

Golik was appointed chief creative officer at Lida in 2018, when Goodman was managing director. In 2020, the agency merged with parent M&C Saatchi; Goodman quit soon after but Golik continued in his role and led the integrated agency’s creative department but left last year.

Before working at Lida, Golik was the UK executive creative director at Rapp for two years, and prior to that he was ECD at Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw.

With over 20 years’ experience, Golik has led work across brands such as Waitrose, John Lewis, Starbucks, Nando’s and the NHS.

At Uncommon Experience Studio he will work across CRM and CX for British Airways and IAG Loyalty, including Avios rewards and BA’s Executive Club. Since launching in 2021, the studio has quadrupled in size.

Founding partner David Yates and managing partner Margaux Sloan have also previously worked with Golik across several agencies, including Wunderman, Kitcatt Nohr and Lida.

Golik said: “I’m thrilled to join the Uncommon team and be reunited with people I’ve loved and respected for many years. We’ll hit the ground running doing what we do best. Taking brands into customer spaces in surprising ways, and making things in weird shapes to fit new and emerging spaces.”

Goodman added: “As the Experience Studio continues to grow, we’re overjoyed to be welcoming Ben. He brings that special blend of creativity coupled with a fierce desire to get things into the real world.”
