Rapp UK has appointed Caroline Parkes to the newly created role of head of strategic consulting, with a brief to develop the agency’s strategic capabilities as well as drive business transformation and growth for existing clients.
Reporting into Shiona McDougall, senior vice-president of strategy, Parkes will also be helping to guide innovation and creativity across the agency.
Parkes joins Rapp after a spell running her own consultancy, ColourPop Marketing. Prior to that she was chief strategy officer at Cherry London and has also held senior strategy roles at Lida, Proximity London, Craik Jones, Joshua G2.
During this time, Parkes has worked on top brands including Boots, Ikea, First Direct and Oxfam.
McDougall said: “Caroline’s deep understanding of strategy, creativity and data make her the ideal person to help me lead Rapp UK’s strategic vision. Her experience across the sector and not least her passion for creativity gives us an important edge that I know our clients will relish.”
