Data chiefs unite for insight start-up.jpg 1Three leading figures in the customer insight industry are joining forces to launch integrated digital and data consultancy Anaylin to offer what they describe as “real-time intelligence and right-time multichannel delivery”.
Nigel Grimes (pictured left), Jonathan Plowden Roberts (right) and Neal Rimay-Muranyi together have more than 65 years’ industry experience – both client and agency-side – and have set up the consultancy to “bring sense and value to data”.
Rimay-Muranyi and Plowden Roberts met while working at the Database Group in Bristol back in the mid-Nineties.
Rimay-Muranyi spent over eight years at the company as sales and marketing director before leaving to join Callcredit, where he stayed seven years. He was most recently a director at Consumer Cloud.
After six years at the Database Group as head of analysis and consultancy, Plowden Roberts had spells at Wunderman, Blink, and Lexis Nexus before joining G2 as head of CRM and data strategy. He has been working as a consultant since May last year.
Meanwhile, Grimes started his career at Royal Mail in 1987, then switched agency-side at Carlson, Streets Communications and Citigate Direct. In 1994, he returned client-side and held senior roles at BT, Centrica, and Air Miles before heading up the insight division at RBS Insurance, whose brands include Direct Line, Churchill, Privilege, Green Flag and many white label partner brands. Grimes joined Teradata as senior CRM, insight and analytics consultant in 2010; he left the business in February.
In a joint statement, the trio said: “Our expertise has been gained at some of the most respected customer brands, marketing agencies and data consultancies both in the UK and internationally.
“We are passionate about and committed to making a difference to customers’ experience and to companies’ bottom line by bringing sense and value to their data.”
