Publicis owned Digitas UK has appointed former Ogilvy head of data analytics Leila Seith Hassan to head up the agency’s data and analytics proposition and enhance its data science capability.
Seith Hassan’s most recent agency role was at Ogilvy, where she worked for over eight years in senior data and analytics roles in the UK, US and France. These included global data lead on the Nestlé Infact Nutrition account in Paris, director of marketing analytics in New York and head of marketing analytics in Atlanta, Georgia.
Prior to that she worked in a number of creative agencies and niche data consultancies in her native Australia on clients including American Express Vodafone, IBM and British Airways.
Seith Hassan, who has been working as a consultant since leaving Ogilvy in January, will report to Digitas UK chief strategy officer Matt Holt when she takes up her new role next week.
Holt joined in January from Havas, and said: “At Digitas, we create experiences that bring brands to life – and data is a key ingredient. I am over the moon that Leila has decided to join us – she will bring a big brain and big energy to the new era of Digitas. Exciting times.”
Hassan added: “The Digitas team are a truly passionate, intelligent and creative bunch. I’m really eager to start.”
