Tailor-made holiday and tour specialist Bridge & Wickers has appointed Golley Slater to handle the media account for its brand, and sister firm The Ultimate Travel Company.
Both firms specialise in offering bespoke breaks to high net worth individuals, and Golley Slater London will initially start work on digital media, including SEO, PPC and display.
The Ultimate Travel Company has over 30 years’ experience of organising worldwide travel. With 40 specialist travel consultants, it operates in Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, Asia and both Central and South America.
It was recently bought by Bridge & Wickers to add to its portfolio of destinations which include Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific Islands, Canada and Alaska.
Dee Dunne, head of marketing at The Ultimate Travel Company, said: “We were impressed with the thorough and detailed approach the Golley Slater team took. They had strong knowledge of the sector and suggested a number of rapidly applicable techniques that will have a strong impact on our numbers – their reporting tools and formats are also easily shared within our organization improving our internal media communication.”
Andrew Mason, media director at Golley Slater London, added: “Our pitch strategy was to demonstrate our understanding by developing three stages of implementation over the introductory period. We’re really looking forward to providing very tangible media improvements for the two specialist brands.”
