Another week, another new account win for Proximity London, whose new business machine keeps steamrolling on, this time picking up the digital account for car fleet leasing firm LeasePlan UK.
The agency, which won the business in a three-way pitch, will initially manage a digital rebrand, starting with across across channels including websites and mobile apps. The account was previously handled by a number of agencies.
Proximity will use data from in-car telematics, used by many car insurance firms to lower premiums by gathering information about customers’ driving, to build a communications strategy.
LeasePlan ebusiness programme manager Marie Orpen said: “Proximity gave a great pitch, demonstrating a solid understanding of our business and opportunities. Their innovative approach and strong strategic thinking promises great things for the future.”
In recent weeks Proximity has picked up the Kenco loyalty club account, Kenco Rewards, the John Lewis CRM and loyalty business, as well as new work for Royal Mail Parcelforce and Oxfam.
It is also poised to confirm the appointment of a new executive creative director to replace Caitlin Ryan following the strengthening of its senior management team with promotion of client services director Sharon Whale to deputy chairman.
