Graham Lund12 small - useCallcredit Information Group has promoted credit solutions division managing director Graham Lund to the head up the entire UK operation, assuming overall responsibility for the credit, marketing and consumer divisions.
Lund first joined Callcredit in 2001 as product director, from Experian, before switching to its then parent brand Skipton Information Group in 2004. Skipton rebranded as Callcredit the same year.
In 2006, he was appointed deputy MD and then MD. He became managing director of the credit division in 2011.
As UK group managing director, Lund will be responsible, along with the divisional MDs and the executive team, for implementing strategy and delivering the annual budget for the UK business.
In particular he will be responsible for ensuring the UK business meets its targets and continues to develop, both organically and through acquisitions.
Callcredit Information Group chief executive John McAndrew will continue in his current role and will be responsible for developing the businesses medium and long term strategy across all geographies, implementing the international strategy – specifically aligned to new opportunities, managing investor relationships and for the sales and profitability of the evolving group.
McAndrew said: “Callcredit has grown significantly over recent years. We are in a great position, as we can see further sustained growth in the UK for many years – provided we continue to differentiate by service and innovation. However it is important that we look to the future – especially how we turn a mainly UK based business, into an international one. The time is right therefore to evolve the focus of the leadership team.”
