McDowall Media, one of the UK’s leading independent lead generation companies, has beefed up its management team as part of an ambitious expansion strategy.
The move is part of McDowall’s commitment to become a benchmark for the industry with unrivalled products and customer service to ensure clients receive maximum ROI.
The new team of business management director Barry Leeson-Earle, group operating director Richard Hudson and marketing and commercial director Andrew Colwell will work alongside founder and managing director Graham Bate and sales director Luke Reid.
Leeson-Earle (pictured far left) is best known for setting up Tri-Direct in 1989, which rebranded as Acquity in 2009. He developed the company from a start-up enterprise into a £30m turnover business with 34 employees and a major client base.
Following the sale of Acquity to Crayon in 2010, he has worked as a consultant to a number of company boards both large and small.
Hudson (pictured, second from right) has held a number of senior client-side positions including national telesales manager at Alliance Healthcare, interim head of telephony at AXA Sun Life Direct and national head of telesales at Telefonica O2.
Meanwhile, Colwell (pictured, far right) was marketing director at LBM during its period of rapid growth which resulted in the business being sold for £50m. Since then he has been running his own consultancy, working for the likes of O2 and Royal Sun Alliance.
Prior to LBM, Colwell held senior marketing roles at Trinity Mirror, Bank of Scotland and Cable & Wireless.
Bate (pictured, second from left) founded McDowall in 2008 and has led its development into a multi-million pound business. He said: “We have redefined our products to provide a complete acquisition service, and our compliance systems to ensure a top quality output. Our UK-based call centers and dedicate account management teams are the best around. The new members of our management team are well known in the industry and have unrivalled expertise and experience. Their appointments are a major statement of intent to fulfill our ambitious expansion plans.”
Colwell added: “The business has grown significantly from a standing start just a few years ago. I’m looking forward to being a part of the senior team that drives the business ahead with giant leaps forward.”
