Rapp has appointed Mindshare director of invention Darran Snatchfold to head up its media division, effectively succeeding Ian Maynard who left the agency last March after 14 years at the business.
Snatchfold will sit on the UK leadership team and report directly into Rapp UK chief executive Chris Freeland. As senior vice-president of media has has been tasked with building the agency’s media capability with a digital first and strategy-led approach.
At Mindshare, Snatchfold was responsible for collaborating with the data, technology and creative communities, he has also worked at Microsoft, Publicis and TMW, where he was head of planning; at the time Freeland was managing director.
Freeland said: “Darran’s integrated experience means he is ideally placed to lead our media strategy. His understanding of the importance of data, which is the core of our business, alongside his energy and dynamism was paramount to his appointment.”
