NCA hires creatives behind Just Eat and Moonpig ads

New Commercial Arts has expanded its creative team with four new hires following a string of new business wins, including the Financial Times and PG Tips which the agency scooped last year, as well as a number which have yet to be announced.

Duo Adam Taylor-Smith and Steve Yeates join as senior creatives; with Rose Power and Niamh McBride joining as creatives.

Taylor-Smith and Yeates are former creatives at McCann London, where they worked on the viral star-studded Just Eats ads with Craig David and Christina Aguilera. They were also the brains behind The Last Night Out for the Night Time Industries Association, driving mass public awareness to the rapid decline of UK nightclubs.

Taylor‑Smith and Yeates said: “Opportunities at agencies this humble, compassionate but deadly ambitious don’t come around very often. While continuing to do what they already do so well, NCA are looking to flex and evolve their commercial artistry. As we are. So we’re catching each other at an interesting time.”

Power and McBride, meanwhile, recently developed a new brand direction for Madam Tussauds, and have previously worked on campaigns for staple UK brands such as Moonpig and Primark.

They commented: “A resurgence of the humour and craft we love make this an exciting time to be in advertising. We both worked with kids before leaping into this, so an energetic 5-year-old agency with so much growing room feels right.”

The appointments come as the agency unveiled its first work for the FT, “For the Why”, which launched in the first week of January, as well as more recent new business wins that will be revealed soon. The two teams will work across NCA’s roster of clients.

They will all work into executive creative directors Dan Seager and Steve Hall, who added: “What better way to start 2026 than by adding four more culturally-sharp, witty and clever minds to our growing department.

“Adam, Steve, Rose and Niamh are firstly a joy to be around and secondly will bring new ideas and new thinking to NCA for our clients. We’ve got big plans for this year and this is just the start.”
