Notts Forest ‘top of digital league’

Notts Forest scores digital doubleNottingham Forest FC may no longer be the European force it was during the Brian Clough years but it claims to be setting the pace in digital by providing customers with a seamless and personalised purchasing experience – both on and offline.
The Championship club claims to be one of the first in the UK to offer a full service, omnichannel solution through its online and physical shops.
The full service ecommerce strategy has been delivered by digital marketing consultancy and Magento Solution partner PushON.
Previously Nottingham Forest had outsourced both its online shop and physical megastore to a third-party, leaving the club with little control and flexibility over its product offerings and promotions. It also meant the online and in-store customer experiences were completely separate.
But the consolidation between channels and integration of customer shopping data now means that customers will receive greater personalisation and an enhanced and consistent shopping experience across all devices and in-store.
Steve Dickman at Notts Forest said: “Nottingham Forest has a reputation for leading with digital strategy. We’re proud to be one of the first football clubs in the UK to have an omnichannel offering so we can provide the same quality shopping experience with our ecommerce site as found in our mega store.
“The digital marketing expertise that PushON was able to provide was fantastic and really helped us to push the boundaries and provide a world leading experience for our customers.”
