Smith rejoins Prolog as joint md

Prolog, the ecommerce, fulfilment and logistics outsourcing specialist, has reappointed Guy Smith – this time as joint managing director – as part of its ambitious growth strategy.
Smith joins from Ark-H, having spent eight years away from the business. With more than 20 years’ experience in senior management roles, he has also worked at Acxiom-owned call centre 2Touch and Dataforce.
Prolog clients include Whitbread, Britvic and Mothercare as well as other blue-chip companies across public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
The next 12 months will see the business focus on strengthening its logistics and ecommerce offering.
Smith will oversee the business expansion with a key focus on sales growth and marketing, in addition to IT and contact centre services.
Executive chairman Robert Audley said: “We’re delighted to welcome Guy back as we embark on the next phase of Prolog’s strategic growth plan. Guy’s first-rate experience and wealth of industry knowledge complements our integrated offering, providing us with even greater momentum to further our growth and immediately benefit our team and more importantly, our clients”.
Smith added:”Prolog recognises the importance of and need to deliver bespoke solutions and is fully prepared to invest in order to make that a reality.”
