Ray joins from St Luke’s, where she has been for just over a year. Prior to that she spent six years at Partners Andrews Aldridge, also working for data business Fuel, as well as nearly four years at Rapier. Ray has also had spells at Joshua and the New Business Consultancy.
At Haygarth she takes up the role of new business and marketing director and will report to managing director Marcus Sandwith.
The agency, which specialises in promotional and shopper marketing, was bought by Rapp in June last year in a deal sees the two companies work side by side within Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services (DAS) division.
Set up in 1985, Wimbledon-based Haygarth and its 100-plus staff continue to operate as a separate brand and retain its own identity.
The agency has three separate divisions, “promotional, retail, channel and shopper”, “social media, PR and experiential” as well as “digital, CRM and data”. Its client list includes Mars, Disney, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Vodafone, Cathedral City, Beefeater London and Heinz.
As part of the deal, Haygarth’s main shareholders – chief executive Sophie Daranyi and Sandwith – entered an earn-out period.
